Food Friday – Chocolate Brownies

Vegan chocolate brownies? Abso-bloody-lutley! These delicious devices of mass-conversion are great for taking in to work and sharing, though equally great for hoarding.

You will need;

  • 250g wholewheat flour
  • 350g brown sugar
  • 250ml coconut oil
  • 250ml cold water
  • 70g chocolate powder
  • 40g(ish) dairy-free chocolate
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

Step one – Throw every single one of those ingredients into a mixing bowl

Step two – Mix them with a food processor

Step three – Grease a 20cm by 20cm by 10cm square pan (approx).

Step three – Bake at around 150 degrees Celsius for 45/50 mins, until the mixture is no longer runny.

Step four – Turn out onto a cooling rack, and wait until completely cool before cutting.

That is literally it. It’s so easy to make these brownies, and they taste so good, it’s a wonder I’m not triple the size I am! To see this recipe being made live, click here.
